Ohhh my .......it appears the CTX1300 last production date is 2019?
Actually, the CTX1300 was only produced for the 2014 model year.
Though there are still a few dealers out there with new, unsold bikes currently in stock - those are still all 2014 models.
Honda marketed these poorly when released, the original MSRP was way to high for what it was, and the cycle media didn't recieve it well, as there wasn't anything it really directly competed with...being an odd mix of American cruiser, long distance tourer, and with (at the time) very untraditional styling - it was hard to make market comparisons.
All the bikes you mention are excellent rides. I owned a ST1100 but was not good with the ergonomics... too much forward lean for me.
The CTX1300 is a VERY good ride and was even better for me than my former Gold Wing. It is true that Honda did not promote the CTX as they could have, and dealers were not educated about them so had no clue where they fit in class of riding making them very hard for dealers to push them. I actually had to repeat the model many times for the parts counter to understand that I was asking about a part for my CTX and not a VTX and some dealers were totally unaware that the CTX1300 even existed. Many members here believe the CTX1300 was a trial platform for some of the design features on the newer Gold Wing, myself included. Much of the CTX1300 is taken directly from the ST1300 and re-tuned for more grunt in low rpm ranges.
Take a look on CycleTrader.com if you haven't already. Pricing is incredibly good these days for held over new as well as many used with low miles.
