2014 CTX1300 Deluxe Ion Blue

2014 Honda CTX1300A

After waiting through most of the usual non-riding season in this area when bikes really don't sell so well I'm putting this one back on the market.
This is an Ion Blue USA Deluxe version with the Audio controls and speakers, BT audio connect for both helmet headset and/or music device (smartphone, mp3 player, iPod, etc.), ABS/TC, self cancelling turn signals and blacked out wheel rims and trim side panels which all come standard on the Deluxe model (the Standard model comes without these features and has silver rims and side panels). ALL factory lights are LED including headlights.

A few additional features installed are:
-3 position mini fuse block for isolated power that is only on when the bike is on
-Highway Blaster 132 db electric horn in addition to the factory horn (dedicated horn wire harness even makes factory horn louder)
-12vdc 10 amp socket installed in the right saddlebag using factory option plug
-A second 12vdc 15 amp weatherproof socket under the seat always on for that roadside emergency
-Rear harness pigtail with taps off for brake and turn signals ready to use for any added LED lighting
-Rear LED light bar for added tail light and flashing brake that goes solid on after 6 seconds located just over the license plate
-20W per side LED driving lights with four 5W Cree LED elements each operated by lighted switch next to left control cluster
-Chrome garage door opener button located just above driving lights switch to allow easy thumb operation wired to a location just under the center of the front garnish between headlights
-River Road saddlebag liners give a perfect fit in the saddlebags
-RAM ball mount for GPS or any other device
-Saddlebag guards expertly made by a CTX1300 forum member
-RadGuard radiator guard
-Kuryakyn SwingWing rider pegs and adapters and OEM pegs also included
-Both Honda tall shield (installed) and Honda OEM short shield also included
-Honda rear carrier (luggage rack) with added bungee cord hook studs installed
-Black 83 deg angled air valves installed both front and rear
-Adjustable brake and clutch levers (brake is stock, clutch is Honda GL1800 perfect match)
-Factory Service Manual

Installed new battery July 2018. The bike now has new oil and filter, air filter, brake and clutch fluids. Tires are an Avon AV71 Cobra front tire and an Avon AV65 Storm 3D X-M Sport rear tire. These were put on just over 7,000 miles ago and still have half their life remaining in the tread. These tires have been really great to ride on in wet or dry pavement. I keep psi to 40F/42R.
The bike currently has 40,739 miles but this may go up a bit. I bought the bike new with 1.0 mile on the odometer. This bike has a lot of power in the lower RPM range and must be ridden to realize. I also consider the stock seat on this bike to be the most comfortable stock seat over any other bike I’ve ridden and better than some aftermarket seats. This bike is made for piling on the miles.

Reduced to $7000.
To those who are new to the CTX don't let miles deceive you. This engine and transmission have been basically the same mechanics in the ST1300 for about 17 years now and have been proven bullet proof in those bikes for many hundreds of thousands of miles. Performance of this model to date shows the same longevity is in store for the CTX1300.

Thinking that miles on my CTX1300 may put off a few potential buyers who are not familiar with the Honda V4 platform. Just a note here about that. The engine and transmission in the CTX1300 has nearly 17 years of history in the ST1300 proving just how bullet proof it is. I have just over 40K miles on mine and it's really JUST broken in. Just getting started on its life on the road.
But to add a bit more incentive I am adjusting the price on mine with all listed extras to $6930.

My CycleTrader listing expired last night so relisted it (they have a time limit how long a listing shows).
Dropped the price into "Deal_Of_The_Century" range. I know you guys here know this but for those who are new to Honda V-4 bikes... The miles on my CTX are just at the break in miles.

Now priced at $6480!
