190 rear tire instead of 200?

Interesting question. I have no knowledge on your question. Here in Canada there are several choices for 200 wide tires, I've never had a problem getting the spec'ed tire.
The 190 rear tire wil work fine. You will lose 10mm of tire width and you won't feel the difference (unless you are a professional racer).
Your speedo will be off differently depending on the aspect number.
A 200/50 tire is 100 mm tall.
A 190/60 tire is 114 mm tall. A common size.
A 190/55 tire is 104.5 mm tall.
You don't want the tire to be too tall and rub on the underside of the tire shield.

I wouldn't worry about the speedometer. The difference you will never notice it.

That's what I am running now, 190/55zr/17, roadsmart3, working great
I am a fan of the roadsmart 3 tires, and currently, I have them mounted on my FJR1300. Good to know I can run 190/55ZR17 on the rear of my CTX.

HA, thats funny I also have a 2015 FJR
and ctx
I love both bikes. The CTX, with the harsh suspension, still is a keeper. I may, down the road, upgrade FJR to a newer model or a different bike. I was kicking the idea around between getting a 2022 FJR or a 2022 BMW R1250RT. In any case, I will have to start saving my pennies. Both bikes are paid for in full.
Between a 190 and 200?? None, you won't miss the 10mm or the 0.39 inches.
