You've done what I have thought about. But I'm satisfied with the OEM system so far. I noticed poor mp3 recordings don't sound well, haven't made any of my own from my CD collection yet. I started using SiriusXM on my phone and the sound quality is 100 percent better.
How is the sound on your upgrade?

Sounds amazing. Even good bass response with the enclosures. Very happy. 😊

I was just checking out this Rockford Fostgate website.
You know, just maybe my sound system could use an upgrade. It would certainly help when I'm near those loud pipe riders.
I haven't bothered to look into any systems since I bought this bike 5 years ago.

It’s a lot of work, but the results are worth it. Good luck to you.

That kind of work doesn't bother me. If I do it, I'll get Honda plugs so I don't have to splice into the harnesses. Make my own adapter cables, so if the amp goes I can unplug it and put it back to stock configuration.
