From 1 to 3, seem a to have helped quite a bit, even the front feels better now, have the Honda Touring screen on and it's great but still need to duck down 2 inches to get rid of helmet buffeting, maybe the 16 inch Cee Bailey screen is worth a try, really like the bike, just need to get it dialed in! Left the bags off for now, kinda looks cool

I have mine set to 3 also. Seems best for me. I bought the special tool and found I can adjust the shocks without removing the panniers. There's a post about that in the tech forums somewhere.

I've yet to have any buffeting on me on this bike! Well, except when I was directly in the tail and nose wake of a semi in the next lane as I passed. What comes off both the tall shield and the shorty is to me a very smooth flow of air. Yes, it can get strong at speed, but it's very smooth compared to the actual buffeting (side to side and every other direction bashing of wind) I've known from other bikes I've been on. I like having that air stream on the top few inches of my helmet so my top vents actually work. I ride a motorcycle, there is wind, that's one reason I wear a full face helmet with the visor closed. The bigger reason of course is the safety factor. :)

I tried my shocks on every setting yes 3 was best but did not help much. I have replaced my shocks and the ride is great now. I have a post on this board about what I have found. The problem with the stock rear shocks to much comp damping and you cant adj the damping.

If you have center stand you can put bike on stand and change by hand
if you have a semi strong grip. You Can use spanner wrench shaped
like a C. YOU should take bags off. YOU can buy special spanner with offset so you can adjust with bags on and some use strap wrench. you could start at 3 go up down one. experiment a little.

After putting on the center stand and test "driving" the park n move dolly from LegalSpeeding, took off the bags and hand adjusted shocks from 1 to 3. Ride today was better and hit a road transition that usually sends a shock wave up through my tailbone but this time was more of a hard bump...not so jarring. Loving this cruiser!

Hello,

I am considering the replacement of the rear shocks for some quality ones.
So far I have two options:

- Hyperpro, they are adjustable and have a specific model for the CTX. They also offer a front kit with springs and liquid. (first picture)

- Öhlins: a suspensión specialist would adapt the Harley one HD216 to my bike and weight. (second picture)

Obviously I would appreciate any opinions or suggestions...

Will keep you posted on my decision and results...

Cheers...
