Hi all,

From reading the manual it appears that the AUX socket is constant hot. Is that correct? I sure was hoping it was switched on with ignition...

Accessory Socket
The accessory socket is located under the seat.
Open the cover to access to the accessory socket.
Rated capacity is 24W (12V, 2A).
To prevent the battery from becoming weak (or dead), keep the engine running while drawing current from the socket.

If referring to the factory provided plug for the optional 12v power socket kit (not installed from the factory on USA version bikes) then that one actually is switched on/off with the ignition switch. BUT, that doesn't mean the engine has to be running, thus the warning. It is powered on anytime the ignition switch is in the "ON" or "ACC" position. But when the ignition switch is off the power is turned off to that plug.

Hey Bob,

Yes the original owner of this bike had EVERY factory accessory installed.

Aux socket, center stand, heated grips and even the "extra" mirrors.

I want to use the aux socket for a ignition switched trigger. This would be super convenient.
