I spent about two hours today taking off plastic pieces. Motivated by dropping a small allen wrench into the top shelter thru the drain slit at the ignition lock. Time to learn how to take this thing apart.
Long story short, I lost one inner piece of a pop clip. No biggie. But when I pried off the right shroud, I snapped the plastic at the bottom where the metal bracket attaches to the plastic with a bolt.
It's a clean break. Possibly use some epoxy to repair it? I tried JB Weld, but NG. I reinstalled the shroud for now, since two bolts at the crash point and a clip hold the piece on.
Anyone have a suggestion on gluing the plastic of the shroud? Or am I SOL here?
