Although it might not be... Hoping to interact with some knowledgeable folks to help make the decision making process easier. I've ridden as a commuter for the better part of 5 years but I'm looking to add a touring bike to my garage. With the kids grown and gone Its about time the missus and I take some two wheeled treks!

well first things first you got the right idea going. My son is going off to Michigan and then it will be just me and the wife. Sad thing is that he will be taking my CTX 700 I bought not too long ago. Not that the CTX700 wasn't capable of taking pasengers but I just felt as If I need a bit more power.

I've got a 07 Versys I use for commuting and a 90 GSXR 1100 I take out for back roads bombing on the weekends... She looks like so...
