Ordered a Deluxe today in red. Great deal at Florence Honda in SC. Thank you to all the new owners who provided information on their bikes. This forum is a great resource. First step will be the GPS.

Just do a Google.com search on CTX1300 and goto images. You'll see lots of red models... Honda seems to show that color most since that's their flagship color. That'll have to do until flytrap posts pics of his.

Most of web pix of Red are the standard vs deluxe... probably due to the bright paint vs black outs making it stand out more? So pix of Deluxe in Red seem less common and therefore a welcome addition here.

Yup, always love seeing red CTX's, still have to see one in person to really appreciate it.

I unfortunately am not, and I'm not ashamed to say it, because any free time I have with it, I'm riding it. Which equally unfortunately is no where near as much as I'd like yet.

Delivery is supposed to happen in about a week. I'll post pictures at that time...and probably also some first impressions.

Same here (like the black best but like the other colors, too), except that I've kind of OD'ed on photos. Most likely it's because the screen saver on my work computer is linked to my collection of CTX1300 pics on Dropbox. It displays a mosaic/collage of all of those photos, and whenever I add one to the collection I start seeing it on my screen. I see those photos SO much now that they have become kinda boring.

I do, however, find myself standing in the garage and just LOOKING at the bike. ****, it's pretty! But then of course I find a spot of dirt and out comes the cleaning stuff. Maybe it's best that I DON'T look at it quite so much!

(Man, this forum sure is prissy about certain words...the four-letter word I used above that got converted to stars was actually quite tame compared to an expletive I COULD have used instead!)
