OK, guys. I changed my oil on Saturday. I used that 5w-40 stuff called for in the oil-changing thread. I don't know if it's me being overly enthusiastic or what, but I swear the driveline surging that I used to get when downshifting is almost completely gone now. Is it possible that the change in oil viscosity made that big of a difference in the "feel" of the bike? I don't know whether the Honda techs who changed it last time had the oil levels perfect or not, and I assume that they used the recommended lubricant, so... howbout it?
Am I crazy or is it possible that a simple oil change can make that kind of a difference?

More miles on the bike and a fresh oil change makes a big difference
