I stopped by our Honda dealer this holiday season and sat on an F6B, CTX700N and Fury. All of them fit me so good. Must be something about a Honda. The F6B was sweet but to ride all day or out to New Mexico with no cruise still causes me some heartburn. The CTX1300 looks like a smaller version of the F6B and that should be nice. Honda needs to let the price out of the bag....

I've ridden all over Texas and Arkansas on my F6B and cruise control is not an issue, throttle lock works just fine.....................cc would be nice but don't know if I would pay more for it, the bike is already too expensive.

I'm with you, cruise control is not even an issue with me and would never stop me from buying a bike, a throttle lock (and other DIY solutions) works fine.

Funny, I think the red looks better, and I'm not usually into red bikes, lol. I think it's how the red and black tupperware play off each other. To each their own!
Oh yeah for sure, no right or wrong, if we all liked the same thing and got the same thing it wouldn't be fun :D

Red still looks good to me, just not as good as black.

That is a nice looking scoot to be sure. But it's a bit more bike than I need/want. Plus something about it being just a slightly chopped Gold Wing also turns me off a bit. On the other hand, somebody who wants a bigger bike but doesn't want to go the full-dressed Wing route, this would be for them. All I know is, I'm very, very comfortable with the CTX and surely wouldn't be so on something much bigger.

I saw this bike first time.. and i thought is was a dream come true. The first time that i have interest in Motorcycle is when i spotted the White Gold wing on the mini exhibition at the Department store, and i thought wow.. now motorcycle has everything, full option, i love big engine, all gadget and look grand like a Mercedes S class. It become my next research topic immediately,.. and I did a lot of research about GL and mostly people recommend BMW k1600GTl due to sporty and option, more i go on the research, i start to realize that the big touring bike may not suit the category
"First motorcycle"
i found out that Honda has F6B so i went to have a look, i was not so impress. The design overall look ok, only cool part is the back of the bike and i love big motorcycle, The front part my wife even said is look like a Mickey mouse face (i mean no offense) . Option, nothing in particular except Audio and radio. Safety, no Traction, no Electronic adjusted suspension, nothing..except ABS. (Spec in my country) but of course it is a good bike smooth ride and good suspension.
If they change the front design, upgrade the control panel make it more 21st Century, add other thing like traction control and cruise control. I would definitely buy it.

At the end of the day i go with CTx1300.. even the Honda Japanese Manager told me, for the moment the best is CTx1300 worth the money and its a very good bike.

Hmm, I had posted pictures of both the F6B and the CTX, above, one on-top of the other and now all I see is the picture of the F6B, what happened to the other picture?

Yep... this is exactly where I am right now. F6B vs CTX1300. Choices suck.
Test ride. And if you still can't make up your mind, test ride 'em again. Eventually one will rise above the other. Worst case, you pick the wrong one, and then trade it for the right one in a couple of years.

Yeah. Hard part is finding a place to test ride in NJ. Accident rates are so high here that most places won't let you near it until it's yours. Even used motorcycle places.

I keep waiting for places to have test rides on the F6B and/or CTX1300 but nowhere seems to be doing that.
