Can't see the pic, Ed. I tried to look at it on the original site but it said I could not because I wasn't a registered user there. Maybe that's why the picture link doesn't work for me--it just shows a blue square with a question mark in it. I think you will have to save the picture somewhere else and post the link to THAT instead.

THANK YOU! Pretty good pic, the bike certainly looks more blue than gray-blue, but it changes color depending on the angle and amount of light. My Wing was the same way.

Now of course we are all wondering how in the **** he got it so fast!

I was reminded that's because the source you linked to is still subject to the source security and only members can see pics so both can since are members over there.

Actually posted yesterday here
A Florida ST owner replaced his fjr1300 with a gray blue CTX1300 standard. Waiting for ride impressions. He still has a ST1300 at his Ohio home.
Really like the CTX 1300. Never liked the FJR 1300 as much as my ST 1300. CTX has a very comfortable and relaxed riding position. Good power. Very wide handlebars. Very responsive to turns however. Just put 300 "break in" miles on it. Now I can get on the gas a little more. Like the ST 1300, passing gear is still 5th gear, just roll on.

Just finished 400 mi. Good performance from stops. Holds a steady line on sweepers and pops right back up from tighter curves. Doesn't feel heavy at all. Shows 55 mpg at 55 mph. I cruised at 70 for a while today and the dash showed 45 mpg and just under 4K on the tach. I ran a couple of numbers above 70 and it still ran smoothly with no buzz from the handle bars, Just like an ST 1300

Took a 250 mi trip today to Lake Okeechobee, Arcadia, and back to Pine Is., FL. Landscape is flat as a pancake and roads straight as an arrow with a few sweepers mixed in. This gives me a total of 1500 mi in the first month. take off power and roll on power are great. The engine runs as smooth as a sewing machine. I can't call this a suitable touring bike yet. The sorry excuse for a windshield is terrible. I rode for about 15 mi through love bugs that fly in mating pairs. They are smaller that a house fly, but when they hit something going 60, they spat into an area about 10 times their size. The entire front of the bike was covered in a couple hundred dead bugs. My riding jacket, sun glasses, and helmet were splattered. What a mess. The taller windshield should solve the problem. Hope it's available soon. But for now, I really like riding the bike except for the wind issue.
