Had you ridden anything else before the DN-01? Just curious, because you may find it a very different experience with a traditional transmission from what you're used to. Otherwise, I think you will be very impressed with the V-4.

Don't sell the DN-01, don't leave OUR DN-01 community! It's a VERY lonely road we travel ... I don't get to hear much from fellow DN-01 riders! Oh, what the ****! Venture into the REAL world of motorcycling. I'll try to maintain the "semi-scooter" world of the DN-01 without you! The CTX 1300 does sound like a worthy steed. I'm holding out for a automatic version though .... somewhere down the road (I hope)! (I'm a V-4 addict!)

What made you decide to upgrade from the DN01? not enough power, wanted to row yourself, looking to do some serious touring??

Welcome! You just like me. CTX 1300 after DN-01. From better to best. I suppose it'll be the right way to go. I recommend deluxe version, you pay frankly saying less than all that features cost separately.
