Just wanted to say hello to everybody. I just traded in my Gold Wing on a red deluxe 2 days ago. So far I am highly impressed with this bike. The riding position feels very natural and easy going but handles well in the twistys too. The dealer has a windshield on order for me as I don't care much for the wind in my face. Other than that I'm a big fan of this machine. I'm looking forward to the aftermarket catching up with this bike as there seems to be nothing at all available at the moment.

As others have said, congratulations! You're right, it's an amazing ride. And you are also right in that there's really nothing available in the aftermarket for the CTX1300, except "universal" stuff that fits most bikes.

I'm curious that your dealer was able to order the taller windshield for you, though. One of the guys here said last week that the part number was in the system but it was not allowing them to order it. Perhaps that has changed. I know I had to order mine from Japan; I just hope it arrives soon and in one piece!

me too, always wondering what people have to say about them, the pros, cons, etc. from how it looks to functions

Yea the dealer had to search quite a bit as Honda USA is not yet up to snuff on the accessories yet. They said they ordered 2 from Japan. No idea on how long it will be. I'll let you all know when I get it and how it works. There are a few pictures out there. Just google ctx 1300 and then click in images, scroll down a bit and you'll see it.
