Long time motorcycle guy, been owning and riding since 1966. I've owned an unbelievable number of bikes of various brands and models from dirt, dual-purpose, sport and touring. Most recently I sold my Harley Street Glide and went back to a GL1800. I'm looking forward to swapping info and sizing up the CTX1300 and most likely make it my full time bike.

Thanks for the welcome. We have 4 or 5 motorcycle shops that carry Honda within 45 minutes to an hour from home. We visited one today and inquired about expected release. He said they haven't ordered one yet but will be placing another order next week.

If it was the model I wanted and the price was right I'd find a spot for it. Honestly the Street Glide fits me like a glove but it's the constant lugging and shifting in traffic and especially the mountains that make it a chore to ride. Plus maintenance is a good bit more complex than a Honda. Oil filter in a horrible position. Three compartments to keep lubed instead of just one plug on the Hondas. The HD air filter is a breeze though.
