Thanks to those that have posted pics....

I have a question though...Where do you think highway pegs could be mounted? It looks like any forward location would be limited by the exhaust pipes smacking your shins...My experience has been that having multiple foot peg locations make long distance riding much more tolerable. Just wondering if that would be possible with this new bike.

Thoughts?

Which peg bracket are you wanting? Click HERE for the thread on the bracket by @menosabe for just the pegs. Or click HERE for the thread on the bracket by menosabe for pegs and a tab for mounting driving/fog lights. Or click on menosabe's name in the post above and select to send a private message to him requesting more information. He makes those brackets as well as saddlebag guards for the CTX1300. Check out the sticky threads in the Appearance and Body forum in the Tech section of this board for more information on these things.

Highway pegs with OEM Foglights installed

I have the OEM foglight kit installed and wonder if the Highway Pegs use the same bolts to mount to the bike, or if there is a conflict?

Also, with the highway pegs (not with the Foglight attachment), what are workable footpegs that are adjustable ?

No, these highway pegs brackets from @menosabe do not impact in any way the OEM fog light mounting location.

Any foot peg from Kuryakyn or equivalent will work. The Kuryakyn peg system usually comes as the peg of your choice and a mounting adapter that enables a lot of adjustment. The pegs bolt to an adapter with splines, which then bolts or is pin mounted to the brackets. OEM pegs usually come with peg and adapter molded as one part.

Okay I think I figured out how to upload the pics of my hi-way peg install. They are a little close but I have short legs, it just gives a different position and I can lay my leg on top of peg for the straight leg position.

Those look like the mounts that are/were made by a member of this forum... @menosabe (Charlie Rogina). He hasn't been on the forum for a long time lately but he did post a few threads for those and the saddlebag guards in the Appearance & Body sub forum that are sticky threads (meaning they are stuck to always show at the top of the thread list).

Does anyone have the CAD files for the peg mounts? I have a fabricator, would love to mount some pegs in this fashion.
