Can you all with the McCruise tell me about the company’s warranty or planned support timeframe? Comments about them seem all great, but I’m a little concerned about purchasing, only to have the product not supported or parts available sometime after in the event of issues.

Thanks!

I honestly don't remember what the warranty was. And like you've read, the support has been great. They seem to be quick to respond to any issues. The parts support doesn't seem to be an issue either as it's a company that's been around awhile, with units for several models of motorcycles.
They aren't a recent startup with no customer base. I recommend them.

I had a problem with the cable part of the installation sent an email on a Friday morning and the owner called me back Friday evening. He had me check a couple of things, turns out I didn't do one of the steps correctly, he told me what to do then email him when fixed. He called me back again and went through the complete setup, it was nine am. his time on a Sunday. The cruise works great.

Thanks fellas. I reached out to them and got a quick reply from a Tony Guymer who sent a nice and quick response but didn’t note the warranty info, so I’m trying to clarify. In terms of longevity plans of the company, his response in quotes was
I am 72 and slowly trying to ease out of the business, but frank is 12 years younger, so will continue to run the business for a considerable time yet.

I think I’m gonna pull the trigger, but want to hear back on warranty period first.

So I’m in the middle of McCruise install and going well, but just got to the part where you mount the computer on the rear right side air box. Instructions do not have a model with the Evap purge control solenoid valve or the hoses that go that unit. The right side hose sets on top the air box housing right where they want you to install the computer and is in the way. Have any of you had this issue too? If so, what adjustment did you make to mount the computer? See pics

Perfect! Thanks Greg. I wanted to keep installing today and this helps. Did you still route the wiring harness under the control module or just shoot it straight up the air box? Seems like a sharp curve to under the control unit?

The wiring is on top. There isn't a lot of space to work with so I didn't want the box to be any thicker than needs to be.
