Well...OK...wasn't so much "breeze" as a Great Plains gale!!

But it was sunny and 65...so.....a loop through SD, MN, IA

Not many bikes out and about (probably smarter than I...note flags:eek:)

Made for great crosswind handling refresher!!:rotfl9:

Was a very nice day for a ride. I would have but had a family gathering 52 miles away and then an appointment with the buyer of my camper. Now, I'm looking to order and install a few things... like that rear carrier. If/when we get together I'll have to be sure to add something extra so we can tell our bikes apart. They do both look so good in any light.

After my first year of riding (12,000 miles on a Tiger 800), I still struggled mightily in winds and was very intimidated. The main reason I got the CTX1300 a year ago was for its reassuring stability. Both bikes share commute duty, but the CTX gets the nod on the most blustery days. I haven't had to take the car to work once over the last year.

No problem: I've got Grip Puppies on mine:rotfl9:

is it the rare mn sunlight that makes that bike so good looking
Gotta be; seems to have the same effect on yours:)

Me too!

I figure we complement each other: bike=stable; rider=unstable:)
