My first post since 2018. Love the CTX 1300. Looking at the McCruise Cruise Control system. I am not a mechanic and Murphy's Law is always present with me. I am located in Ocala, Florida, but I would be willing to travel. Does anyone know a good CTX 1300 mechanic that I might contact to discuss installing the system?

Thank you for your reply, and congratulations on getting the McCruise. It's the best cruise control system out there, and the company gets very excellent reviews for their customer service and support. The only place where McCruise has to improve is with establishing their dealer network and installers. For example, Champion Powersports listed above, was sold six years ago, and Crank & Chrome does basic service on Harleys.

I plan on contacting the Honda dealer where we bought the CTX and see what they have to say. Eventually, one way or another, I plan to end up with the McCruise. McCruise has done an outstanding job putting together very specific instructions, but I am not confident enough in my mechanical abilities to try installing it on my own.

I wish I were closer. Last month I installed the MC Cruise myself, and it executes flawlessly.

I JUST had my Honda dealer install it, 6 hours of labor. MC Cruise' website has a list of experience shops who can do it, here's the link you can fill out. Love the CC so far, it's quite smooth. Store/Dealer/Installer Locator
