Last Honda motorcycle was in 1983, but the ctx1300 has gotten my attention. Others, like the gl1800 have also, so I'm not sure what that means. Looking forward to seeing one in person. A little history- 26 motorcycles, mostly euro since 1988.

Of the 26 I've had, 6 have been Hondas, so the percentage is the highest for sure. Honda lawn mower for at least 19 years, Honda snow blower for 14, and our first Honda car for 2 years now. All have been excellent for purposes intended. At 5' 3" the ctx1300 looks good as long as the foot pegs aren't to far forward. On the Motorcycle Ergonomics site the image won't show up for the ctx700- instead it says I'm to short for the bike. Never liked forward controls of any kind. Definitely looking for more comfort for the wife without going with a heavyweight. 2014 should be interesting. Looking forward to it, happy new year!
