I've thrown back in with a bunch of a GWRRA chapter from the St. Charles MO area and will be headed to MT Home Akansas Friday the 31st. We plan to ride some place Sat then home on Sun. I'm meeting up with the group of GW's in Potosi at Hwy's 21 & 8 (gas station/Subway Sandwich) bout 8:30am Friday morning and ride down with the group. We are staying at Days Inn by Wyndham in Mt Home AR. So if your in the area see a bunch of GW bikes/trikes and one CTX1300 come on over and say HI. Sorry for the late notice I didn't know I was going till last Fri. These people don't believe there are any more CTX1300 out there. LOL

Got our ride to Mt Home in in spite of it raining most of the way there. 5 GW trikes, 4 GW, 1 VTX1300 and my CTX1300. We all met in Potosi and headed south. Five minutes into the ride the VTX went down on a wet curve. Minor bumps & bruised ego but bike was unrideable. Rider was the son of a trike rider so they said they would deal with it and we went on. Rain most of the way there. But Sat was dry and got in a 200 mile loop of curvy Arkansas roads. Sunday’s ride home was dry till within 20 miles of home when it sprinkled enough to wet all the gear again. All in all a good weekend riding.

The motel required masks in the lobby but not their little breakfast area. Most restaurants required masks going in and coming out. Three of the pics were a from a rest stop at a general store/gas station/canoe rental place. They were busy. There had to be 50-60 people waiting for float trips some with some without masks. Lots of kids. But they “requested” masks inside. And we all complied.
