A very simple solution go to Bikemaster web site and they have pairs of mirrors for $24 the pair that fit the CTX1300 take about two minutes to install and give great rear view vision. they look fine and not like an add on. All you need is a 9/16" spanner

So these are handlebar mounts? or where do they mount?

I was thinking that if I were to add any I would go ahead and spend a little more for Saeng Quick Scans that can mount on my mirror housings. I prefer my mirrors on the fairing if possible. I know many riders like them on the bars though.

Some of the bikemaster mirrors look great and others are a bit over designed.

Have you thought about which set of mirrors specifically you are thinking of getting?
