Need peg extension retro-fit ideas

My wife and I went full CTX family...she's on the 700, I'm on the 1300.

Unfortunately I'd discovered that whenever I pressed firmly on the foot brake peddle, my shin slammed into the valve cover. That's the kind of thing I didn't think to replicate while sitting on the bike in the showroom (I'm 6'3"). My quick fix? There's a rubber covering on the back end of the valve cover, and hard plastic underneath that. I peeled off the rubber covering, cut away the hard plastic, and re-adhered the rubber cover along it's perimeter...so far, so good.

But now I'm jealous of my wife's sitting position on her CTX700. The footpegs on that bike are placed far forward for the cruiser/touring comfort that I wish I had!

I've found aftermarket footpegs that fit a variety of Honda's.
This one folds out and looks to provide what I'm looking for.

The video for installation on a VTX1300c sure seemed easy enough.

I am wondering if the bracket on the CTX1300 (photo attached) is identical to any of the compatible Honda's that are listed by the provider?

(meanwhile, my tall windscreen has been ordered and is on it's way!)

Standing by for impact...

The promo photo shows what my problem is.
The rider's shin is going to clobber that valve cover as soon as he presses his right foot forward into the brake peddle:

Sounds like the real issue is that the brake pedal needs adjusting for you. My legs look like that picture but it's really just my riding pants being baggy. I can scoot forward and touch the covers just below my knee if I really wanted to, but I like to set back in the seat. I don't ever have an issue with with my leg hitting the cover when using the rear brake. When I push on the brake my leg doesn't move forward at all, just my toe goes down. Sounds like the pedal is too low for you. I would think you could adjust the pedal up a bit and resolve the issue for you easily. It is at least a little bit adjustable.

Note: if you have the service manual the brake pedal adjustment is described on page 3-17.

I also looked at the Kuryakyn mini boards for my CTX. However, when I emailed them about the fitment, they hadn't yet had a chance to see if the standard mounts for Honda will work on the CTX. I tried to match part numbers across different Honda models, but no luck. My suspicion is that the CTX is different although I know the CTX 700 people have mounted floorboards but that mount is also different. This is still a mystery.
