I had a CTX1300 from ~2016-2019. I sold it because I was only using it to commute to work, as I was working at the time and had home projects on the weekends. So I retired last year, and this year I should have a new CTX1300 within a few weeks.

I do have a question: I was thinking that you could remove the top box without using a wrench or something. Is that true, or do you really have to unbolt it to remove it?

Unlock latch with the key, lift handle, slide forward, and lift it off. Carry it into hotel room, etc. Easy peasy. Two seconds tops to remove, and maybe 3 seconds to reattach.
