A customer wanted the Puig front fender extender, but after contacting the manufacturer I was told the part will be back in stock sometime during April. Instead, I went ahead and designed my own version from the ground up and the results are fantastic. :)

I bought mine from someone in the UK.
It was supposed to be mounted using push pins of all things. But instead of drilling holes I used JB Weld epoxy and some clamps to hold it until it set up. It isn't coming off without a grinder.
And I put it on for the same reason. Didn't want mud and sand getting thrown halfway up the radiator. Now it only goes as high as the clutch cover.

This is another small accessory I want to install this winter as I had a lot of tar and rocks/material get kicked up this past year that I knew over time would really mark up the radiator and surrounding area. I had researched them some based on this forum, but need to do some sleuthin' again to find one. Would prefer to have it be a more flat black or the carbon black to match surrounding bike color scheme. And I agree, definitely not gonna drill holes. Just attach it with JB Weld or I ordered a new product (Plast-Aid) for another project and after I see how it performs, I might just use that for the fender.

This is the one I bought. I think it was about $35, hasn't gone up much in three years plus. It's the same plastic as other side parts.
Also search for CTX1300 fender. There's some carbon fiber looking options too.

Perfect! Thanks Greg. This is one I had viewed and preferred the flat black, so will place an order for it.
