Welcome to the board, Lee!

Now how bout some pics of those goodies?! :)
How do I post pictures from an iPhone on here ?
How do I post pictures from an iPhone on here ?
Right now the only way is to either load them up in a gallery here (see the link to Photo Gallery above in the red menu bar -- you can create your own gallery there) or into another online photo-sharing site like photo bucket, and then insert a photo link to them here. I'm going to check with the network admins and see if they can add attachments from your device.
I am using Flickr and copy the BB sharing link from there to paste into the post here and the photo shows up. I can designate how big the photo that gets posted is. I usually select the link for 800x600. I can do this from my Android Moto X phone using the Flickr app (there is one available for iPhone) and it's free and allows many thousand photos for that price.

I spoke quite incorrectly. You most certainly can attach pictures into a post from your iPhone -- I just looked completely past it for some reason.

When you're composing a post, either in Post New Thread or Reply to Thread (Advanced view), click or tap the paper clip icon at the top of the Message dialog (see the attached picture). That will open up a window where you can select and upload images directly from your device, whether it's a phone, tablet or computer.

Or you can create your own photo gallery as I noted earlier and upload images into it, but you're limited there to the number of pictures you can keep.

Attachment storage is also limited. That is why I prefer to go with an online photo storage that I can copy links from in the threads/posts. Some of these, like Flickr and smug mug, have a share option that you copy the link for and the photo shows up as if it was attached to the post. Most of my photos are that way now so I don't take up my storage space here on the forum.
My trunk came in yesterday. I got it mounted on the bike quickly and managed to build the lock cylinder in short order thanks to the link to the accessory installation instructions. Here are some blurry pics:

Looks great, Jeff. Thanks for posting. :smiley-happy0034:
Mine came today. I'll be installing it tomorrow morning. The pad really stinks. I probably won't be installing the pad because i won't ever be carrying a passenger.

I am still amazed that they sell a box this big and then tell us it has a load limit of 8.8 pounds. That's just stupid. It would weigh more than that if you filled it with feathers. They have obviously ignored the engineers and let the lawyers set the load limit.

The weight limit is really just a guide. Most big bikes have an 'official' total load limit of something like 400 lbs (even the GW I believe is 418), which you can easily exceed with two slightly heavier than average people, not even including gear. Again, a guide -- I've yet to see anybody leave their wife home from a ride because she's too fat. Also remember that, compared to big tourers, this bike is fairly lean at 724 lbs; and the the trunk is up high, where it's not a good idea to carry too much weight anyway.

Use your head and your own best judgment. I.e., packing rain gear or extra clothes for a trip shouldn't be a problem; packing a couple of cases of beer and ice, probably not such a good idea. If you need to be carrying that much more crap than can safely be packed on a bike, maybe you ought not be traveling on 2 wheels in the first place.

I'll see how it affects the handling tomorrow.
