I realized about 10 minutes out on the highway that the stock mirrors are just a cosmetic unit only.. I will be trying to find a more effective mirror.. I have already found a set of replacement saddle bags to get rid of the Tonka toys from the factory. along with a quick release tail trunk from GIVI

I searched for a couple of hours for different styles but then came back to GIVI since I really liked their large tail trunk with its quick release hook up. I looked all the different saddle bags and will definitely go with their quick release options so I can remove the side bags and the tail trunks. That way I only need them on the bike when traveling and can pop them off for local commuting..

I saw the saeng mirrors too, Look like a good possibility but at around 130.00 whew ,,,, BUT will have to go with mirros in the plugs for my trip next week,, way too unsafe to ride in traffic with stock configuration

Clip ons on factory mirrors along with aftermarket bar mount mirrors

Yes I did, But I still had a very large area hidden from view, BUT the clip ons are still better than the factory mirrors alone
