If the tab isn't completely missing, I used black plastic epoxy and some fiberglass cloth to fix it up enough to hold. One of these days, I'm thinking of cutting out some sheet metal brackets to place behind the tabs and epoxy them on.
absolutely correct!! changing the configuration of the seat really helps to flat foot the bike when at rest. might check into getting a corbin close seat. they are a bit pricey but very good quality.they also really help in the area of ergonomics. good luck and, have fun! most of all, watch out for the crazy cagers!Welcome @Jag22. I think you’ll get the hang of it pretty quick. Nice bikes once you get it set up for YOU. You mentioned being short. There are a bunch of posts on what guys/gals have done to assist ya there. One thing I did on a Wing was have the forward part of the seat narrowed so my legs weren’t spread apart as far to reach the ground.
