We have about 700 miles on our 2014 CTX1300 Deluxe. Love the bike. Have noticed a hitch in the transmission. When you let off gas or when you provide power, it’s as though there’s a momentary dead spot where the transmission grabs rather than providing a smooth ongoing transition.

Is anyone familiar with this? Is there an adjustment? We plan to mention it to the dealer when we bring it in for service.

It is called driveline lash, and I was reading about the CTX 1300 having that as one of the quirks to the bike. I can't remember if it was a MotorcycleUSA.com or Rider magazine, but one of the testers mentioned this.
