Bought the Deluxe version yesterday in Grapevine Texas. Worked a good deal with Payton. He did a great job. I haven't owned a bike since I was about 22 - about 36 years! Took the mandatory driver education in Texas and enjoyed it! It was like riding a bike!

I look forward to riding to the shop and back as much as weather here allows... I will pick it up in about a week... I do wish there was an online User Manual... I'd like to get familiar with it before I get the bike...

Try googling for "ctx1300 PDF", I seem to recall being able to download an owners manual from an Australian site before I bought my bike. Quaint how they spell tire "tyre" ;-)

Kinda in the same situation as you -- haven't ridden in 30 years. Took the class and got my license a couple of weeks ago. My comfort level did come back quickly but... the bikes at the class were small 125's.

Did you take a test ride on the CTX? How did the weight feel?
