Yeah. Gray/blue Deluxe. Gave me a good number on the trade, took $500 off the top, monthly payment is well under my threshold. Only tacked on $300 freight charge -- no stock, prep, or other fees. So basically $17,299 plus sales tax (7% on the full price, no trade-in allowance -- thank you, tax-happy RI!), which I'll try to scrape up myself rather than dumping it on the loan. Should be delivered around April 1 or 2; but I won't be able to pick it up until Saturday the 5th -- $#@%^&* weather permitting!

Congrats, Ed! Finally these orders are starting to actually happen. I'm sure all of us "pioneers" will be busy answering questions for those who have not yet taken the plunge. But hopefully the weather will be nice enough finally that we can just RIDE the new toys and enjoy them!

Congrats

;):DEnjoy and keep it vertical... or at least somewhat in the curves.:p
But of course I'm a bit Jealous/Envious...:( for a few weeks anyway until later in April anyway when mine arrives. Just as well as I'd prefer breaking my in rides at higher temps and maybe cleaner roads. :rolleyes:But if mine were here as soon as yours, I'd deal with it and enjoy as you can soon do.:)

Thanks, all!

I'd better be putting miles in it, or it will be the most expensive garage ornament I've ever purchased!!!

Just exactly which model TBird do ya have Ed?? Mine is the SE model which sold for MORE in 2010 than the CTX sells for now.In other words, since the Bird would be the more expensive garage ornament,I guess what I'm sayin is, should you NOT drive the CTX very much, you'll be ahead of the game!! lol I like it! lol lol lol Dave!!!

Dave, it's 'just' the 1600 ABS model. The CTX is definitely more than I paid for the T-Bird. The only thing that isn't 'standard' on it is the marble red haze paint. I absolutely have to put some serious miles on, or I will be deeply disappointed.

Ed:My daughter just took a job in Southampton Ma.and moved from Haverhill to South Hadley Ma.which is exactly 111 miles south west of Haverhill.According to the map, you're probably 30 miles,if that, south of South Hadley, just off 91.So!! One of these days when I'm down there visiting her on my scooter,I'll let ya know and maybe we can meet some place off 91 since that runs by both, your town, and hers. Dave!!!

Ok, so now I might have to get mad. My bike might not be in this week. It shipped on 3/28, but shipments have been slow because the dealers around here apparently ordered a sh%t-ton of bikes all at once.

Oh, man, I feel your pain. You've been waiting a LONG time already! We are all crossing our fingers that your bike DOES arrive sooner rather than later, and before long YOU can tell US what it's like!

Looks like the only way I'm going to see let alone sit on a CTX 1300 is to order one from the local dealership. Went into the local dealer yesterday and he said as soon as the one (1) blue/gray Deluxe that he got in, came in, half a dozen potential buyers came in and one of them bought it up. RATS!!! I may have to wait another year before the "novelty" of the CTX 1300 blows over to participate in the "usual" buyer's buying ritual. I just would like to know who the **** bought the bike and THEN maybe I would get to see it in REAL LIFE! I have the FEVER!

Tha is just not right

MY dealers first one was shipped ( from VA) to central CT on last Monday Tues 3/24. It arrived on Friday 3/28 so I went to see it. Mine shipped this Monday 3/31 so I'm hoping it will be there by tomorrow. But more importantly is the arrival of the Title which always arrives later but no fixed time interval. The bike can't be sold until they get that and they typically don't uncrate and assemble until they get the title. So today I initated tranfer of funds needed (takes 2 - 3 busiiness days to complete), and for now have my fingures crossed. The shop manual is ordered and He's trying to order the spanner for the suspension as well as find out availbility and order the center stand. Missing center is one thing, BUT Why the &^%# the spanner isn't included is beyond me????:mad: Who knows what the factory setting is and you don't know what is right for you until you ride for a bit on differnt roads, so you need to play with adjustments. Then if you want to add a passenger...????
