They don't seem to have a CTX1300-specific version (I'm gracefully ignoring the fact that they only make car cruise controls), how are you going to install/adapt that to the bike?

It has everything needed to work,, speed sensor pickup, electronic servo unit and remote control switch.. This is the unit I had on my ST1300.

I'm curious which control you purchased. Is it one that goes on the end of a handlebar, or one of the dash-mounted ones? If this works it could be a whole new customer base for them. I'd love to see if it really does work well.

This an digital one that gets it s input from the speed pickup sensor on the bike itself,, NOT a throttle lock.. MOST of it goes under the center shelter Only thing visible is the small electronic control panel that mounts near where the Wing control would be

Found the basic package and the optional handlebar mounted control for 260.00 on Amazon..

If you want a more specialized unit MCCRUISE.com has one specifically designed but it is over 900.00 and 77.00 to ship from australia

Cruise

Kniterider, Just wondering if you have had any success in installing the Rostra Cruise system. Looking forward to how it works out. Sure is one thing missing from a great bike.

Which risers did you get? I'm curious to hear how that installation goes for you.

Edit: That's right, you got the adjustables. Still interested to hear how that install goes for you. And we want pics! :)

Ok the Bridgestone drive guard tire went on very Nicely and at 30 psi it takes a whole lot of the roughness out of the rear suspension.
switched over to the 90 degree valve stems at same time along with dyna beads. Bike has a tendancy to want to climb the valleys of the black top .. but it is no worse than the wing was with my michelin ct on it

Great test tonite on way home from shop,,, heavy thunder storms ponding water on highways.. rear tire did not even feel like it was in the rain.

taller windshield wish could be about another 2 inches taller.but worked a whole lot better than the stock one,, will be watching for any after market options from v-stream or F4

The wiring harnes and control module is on the bike BUT ran out of time for AJ to fabricate a bracket to mount the sevo unit.. BUT we did find a large enough space to mount it,,, under the right reat side panel under the passengers leg I think is where we will end up putting it,, the pull back risers will go on tomorrowevening after i wake up from sleep ( midnight shift)

he hopes to have the bracket done in time to try again next weekend

Will that bracket use the 2 holes in that space that Honda put there for the 12v accessory socket? (that's where Honda puts it and provided mounting holes for the bolts).
