You have me thinking, which is dangerous. People will spend all that money on a boat to catch a few fish, but will complain about the price of that same fish sold at a restaurant. OH that's too much for a fish dinner! But what does it cost to go catch it yourself?

Yeah. Just read same about inflation chickens, i.e. people setting up their own coops to produce eggs because of the egg prices at the stores.

ma, i used to have a 19 ft. skeeter bass boat with a 200 hp mercury engine. when gas started jumpin all over back in the early 2000's i said enough to this sold it all and quit basically fishin all together. still have some of the bass tackle though. expensive hobby just to catch fish. pl us had to have a p/u truck to pull it,plus ins. yadda,yadda,yadda. got out of that racket.
