Hello All!

I thought this might be a fun thread. It would be cool for folks to share stories and pictures from their rides, mods, experiences, or whatever!

Post away! :D

its been a long winter staring at a bike I just bought and could not ride
Waited for delivery. :(
Growled at all the snow and ice still on my driveway...

I rode half way to work and then turned around due to ice on the road.

I looked at mine in the garage, checked the led's on the battery tender, then sobbed loudly at the high possibility that it could be another month before snow and ice is sufficiently gone to allow riding again. Although a week's forecast of temps in the 40's and no precipitation did help to lessen the melancholy.

today went and got the fz-07 out of storage and rode about 5 miles
didn't think that was fair for the ctx so took the wife for 25 miles on that one
its been a long winter, things are definitely looking up here in MN
It was 60 degrees and sunny here today! I pulled off the saddlebags and seat and gave the bike a good detail, cleaning off the shocks and harware that isn't normally accessible. I noticed that there was some gunk collected under the passenger seat strap, so I took that off. I will probably put it back on eventually. Cleaned out the saddlebags thoroughly; there was some dirt from last season and carrying my daughter's sneakers to school. Took a paintbrush to all the cracks and crevices. Looks showroom new! After the cleaning, I saddled up and took a long ride to the grocery store. Bought $54 worth of stuff. The checkout girl saw my helmet (I carry my helmet inside the store with me; it's a rough neighborhood). She asked if I could get all that stuff on my motorcycle and I laughed. Happens every time. The ride home was fantastic. I was very surprised to have only seen one other motorcycle on the road today. We exchanged enthusiastic waves. :)

Yes, not being able to ride a new bike it torture in my opinion. Kinda makes me wish I waited to purchase mine, Lol.... I probably would have paid more if I waited until riding season, but at least I wouldn't have see the bike I've been drooling over for months (and finally purchased) sitting in exactly the same place in the garage day after day. The anticipation of nicer weather is absolutely killing me...
I bought an fz-07 last summer when my bmw was in the shop for a month
put 1k on the bike and the day I put in new fork guts from traxxion dynamics it snowed
so that bike say for the winter without a test drive with new suspension
the bmw got traded in in mid December. on a 37 degree ay in dc I rode it home about20 miles, there was one 40 degree day this winter I took it out for like 10 miles other then that it at in front of the car staring at me all winter
it was a hard winter
Ran a bunch of errands on the bike. I am impressed with the amount of stuff I can fit in the bags. Almost 70 degrees out today!

Man, it's 61 degrees here today and the roads are nearly dry so Black Betty and I shared our first ride. It was just a 54 mile cruise into town, up the freeway, across Hwy 8 and back home but I'm convinced she'll make a perfect substitute for the Wing. Comparable torque, better handling (both at speed and parking lot slow), and that sound. She's a keeper.

Rode to work today. Was also near 70 on the way home. Only 36 going to work this morning. Then ran errands on the homeward end. Rode to work yesterday also, and plan to the rest of the week. :D
Still waiting....
Still waiting....
Sorry to hear than man. I hope you get a chance to ride soon. The weather in NC is getting better! Today we will be in the 70's. I may not get a chance to ride (work plus chance of rain).

By the way, when will your bike be delivered?
Getting ready to pick the wife up and take her out to lunch!
