Hello, All!

Picked up a CTX1300 over the weekend. My wife loves it and it is perfect for her. It's a great match for my 13 F6B.

Now if only we could get rid of the snow.

There is one in the thread "a girl and her CTX".
I have to say, you have one cool wife!
Don't know of many women that would hop onto the CTX without being on the back,
Thanks, SoCal. She's one tough cookie.
what was she riding before the CTX?

any photos of the F6B?
congrats to both of you! Alwyas better when the wifey has her own rig, none of this two up nonsense :D
A lot of women buying and riding this bike, so is it safe to say the CTX-1300 is a "chick bike"? Big guys go buy the F6B? or the full size Wing? Just curious. I haven't actually seen the bike in person yet. Still waiting.
From the sound of the write-ups this bike fits smaller sized people very well. I haven't heard anything about larger sized riders buying the bike.

motorcycle.com just posted their review, one of the journalists is about 5'' 11 and it fits him just fine. though he thinks taller riders may touch the cylinder heads with their knees if they try to scoot forward in the seat.
That reviewer also said the seat is long enough that tall riders should be able to sit back in the seat with no problems.
Well, since I have a 34.5 inch inseam, that is not encouraging news! Guess I will move on to looking at a bike with adjustable seats. BMW seems to fit me well.
I have sat on their GS and RT bikes and very doable for taller riders, and they look good too! Thanks and good luck to all of you! Happy motoring.

That sounds like the B/S comments you read over at the HD forums regarding Sportsters and the Deluxe.

Where is anyone saying lots of women are buying this bike? I haven't read any comments like that. So far I have only read (on this board) of one woman buying this bike. I have also read that taller riders (all male so far) seem to fit fine on it. It really just takes a test ride to know anything for sure.
So far, as of yesterday, I know of 3 dealers in Iowa who have the CTX1300 in stock now. And one of them has at least 2 deluxe models in stock, black and now a gray blue metallic. And a fair price too at under $16k for the deluxe.

Now that's one way to make an entrance. ;)

Welcome aboard, @norton123!

I am a 6-footer with a 34-inch inseam and sat on the bike at the motorcycle show. It fits me just fine. I don't see the issue here.
